As Studio Videographer you will be responsible for creating professional standard video content for the Gymshark e-commerce website, the Gymshark Conditioning App, and Gymshark social media channels. With the recent addition of our new creative studios, housed within our new state-of-the-art GSLC, we are looking to expand our video team to include a full-time studio based role. Day-to-day duties will include creating CYC studio based videos for product pages on our e-commerce website, as well as capturing video content for our new fitness app in our game-changing sound stage app studio.

  • Working as part of the Campaign & Creative team, contributing towards Gymshark’s ever-growing video requirements and needs.

  • Working within the Studio, based at GSLC in Solihull, and reporting to the Studio Manager. 

  • Creating CYC studio based video content of various Gymshark products to sit on product pages on our e-commerce website. 

  • Ensuring video content is produced inline with the brief and is fit for purpose. 

  • Directing models/talent to perform in the ‘Gymshark style’. 

  • Developing an efficient editing workflow for all product page video content, and handing the editing process throughout.

  • Editing video content to specific deliverable requirements, to a professional standard.

  • Collaborating with the in-house video team and external colleagues to create content for our new fitness app, within our full sound stage app studio. 

  • Editing content for our fitness app to specific deliverable requirements.

  • Creating professional standard lighting set ups for a variety of scenarios, inline with the brief.

  • Capturing audio to a professional standard where necessary. 

  • Operating a variety of camera equipment, including: Sony FS7ii, Sony FS5ii, Red DSMC2, Canon C200, Sony A7 series etc.

  • Collaborating on larger scale projects with the in-house video team, assisting on productions both in house and on location. 

  • Working to tight deadlines and assisting the business in creative reactive, time sensitive content when necessary. 

  •  Proven track record in all aspects of video production, with examples by showreel or portfolio (please include in in your application).

  • Ability to think creatively and generate new, game changing ideas.

  • Good knowledge and capabilities in operating industry standard video equipment such as Red DSMC2, Sony FS7ii, Sony A7Sii etc.

  • Enthusiasm to learn and progress skills in all elements of video production and editing. 

  • Good knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Premiere Pro.

  • Good understanding of lighting within a studio environment, working with various equipment such as HMI’s and LED.

  • Good understanding of social media trends and uses. Especially looking at how video is applied on various social media platforms.

  • Ability to turn around projects with short lead times and tight deadlines.

  • Ability to adapt and think on the spot, solving problems and overcoming barriers.

  • Outgoing and confident personality, able to work with and alongside new people with ease.
