OVERVIEW:
You, as a Trims Developer, should be passionate about trim to drive forward consistency in the lines whilst assuring that trims are signed off on time for production. You will be working in a fast moving environment with highly motivated individuals. You will be responsible for trims from beginning to end, encompassing fabrics, trims and packaging.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Support the entire trim materials development process and ensure all trim materials are fit for purpose and commercialised
Communicate effectively with the whole supply chain network and GSHQ, ensure all stakeholders are always up to date
Strategic planning in conjunction with GSHQ in regards to trims
Collaborating with the GSHQ team on seasonal trim sourcing development 
On-time commercialisation of trim material
Facilitate the lab dye approval process
Cross function collaboration with the GSHK Merchandising and QC teams
Oversee the trim material bulk submission/testing process 
Oversee the care label process
Drive the maintenance of the PLM system 
Have ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Managing material supplier partnerships
 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
At least 5 years extensive experience working within the textile industry 
Knowledge of trims construction, dyeing and finishing process
An in-depth understanding of trim manufacturing, performance testing standards, etc
Competent in and experience with trims colour analysis
Experience with supply chain management 
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
Available to globally travel frequently 
Computer literate – confident using the Microsoft Suite
Strong negotiation and commercial skills
Solution orientated and logical mindset
Passionate to drive quality and product integrity
