We're looking for a Head of Paid Social to join the Marketing team on a fixed term basis (Maternity Cover). The Head of Paid Social is responsible for implementing Gymshark’s Paid Social strategies in our fast-paced Marketing team. Reporting to the Media Director, you will be implementing Gymshark’s Paid Social strategy, be responsible for a multi-million pound budget and liaising with key social media platform partners. You will work alongside key stakeholders across marketing, trading and brand to ensure the Paid Social strategy is aligned by working towards overall business objectives whilst reaching our audiences at the right place, at the right time, with the right content along the customer journey.


· Ensure appropriate budget usage across the Paid Social team to keep in line with the business daily, monthly and annual targets.
·  Lead the communication planning for brand and conversion activity, considering every lens of the purchase funnel, leveraging the communications mix with an ROI mentality, and coupling mass reach tactics.
· Combine data analysis and audience engagement to develop strategic plans and tactical recommendations for targeting, messaging and optimising campaigns to meet business objectives.
· Constantly review and innovate paid social channels that drive conversations and engagement across the Gymshark audience.
· Be the paid social emerging and established platform expert. Stay up to date with, testing on, and mastering, new paid social platforms.
· Cultivate an environment which supports intelligent risk-taking, a culture of test and learn, innovation, and creativity.
· Responsible for overall people management of Paid Social team.
· Direct and coach team members, demonstrating how to think more strategically about paid social’s role within the media mix.
· Connect across different areas of the business and understand how Paid Social adds value and delivers overall business targets.
· Produce quarterly reports detailing the effectiveness of individual channels, test and learn activities and overall results.
Generate action plans off the back of both positive and negative results to ensure we are learning and implementing the correct strategies.
