OVERVIEW:

As Pattern Technologist, you will need to establish and deliver functional excellence through providing high quality support and expertise in pattern, fitting, sizing, grading, construction and quality.  Utilise garment manufacturing knowledge to execute the most desirable products in the most effective and efficient way. Provide cross-functional teams in all fit, construction and technical related efforts through development to production stage.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Management and Support: 
To develop and manage technical standards and fit blocks development and application, through to offer recommendation in developing technical standards & fit block pattern best practice according to the brand/product type, but maintain the brand’s DNA and Aesthetic
To develop and build the grading rules for all product ranges and application to support and predict issue at development, while to make sure the bulk production smoothly, including factory visit and training
Review tech pack and pattern, identify areas of concerns, address and resolve prior to sample making at development and production providing pattern support to the business partners and to maintain data integrity at all time 
Join the fit sessions with relative business partners, that to support and make the fitting smooth and effective, of course, including pattern and fit quality support when necessary
Liaise and facilitate problem solving and decision making in any technical related pattern issue to deliver the team success
Follow up timely, monitor process and progress of pattern works to hit deadlines

Strategy:
Proactively working on fabric consumption to balance cost effective at development through partnership with PD, sourcing and relative business partners
Drive for product and process improvement and consistent execution. Encourage best practice sharing

Collaboration: 
Develop clear understanding on brand requirements and close partnership with HQ counterparts to build high trust as ONE team
Collaborate with HK sourcing team, QA and other cross-functional departments through development and production execution, including factory visit

Other Duties: 
Open mind to learn 3D virtual technology to support the 3d strategy direction, to execute the vendor training and certification program through to partnership with 3d virtual team, including internal/external business partners
 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Minimum 20 years relevant experience in Garment construction, quality, pattern making, fitting, sizing and grading
Good pattern system knowledge – Gerber or Lectra is highly preferable
Good pattern making & grading plus marker for fabric consumption
Aesthetic eyes for high end products
F. 5 graduated or above; major in Garment Manufacturing and Technology, Pattern Making, Grading or Fitting & Construction is highly preferable
Good in MS office - Excel and Words
Good command of written English and Mandarin
Basic communication in English & Mandarin
