OVERVIEW:

You will have experience working within a Product Marketing function building compelling product concepts by using commercial and consumer insights to drive business growth and enhanced brand equity. Comfortable operating in a dynamic and fast changing environment with the ability to support the Senior Product Marketing Manager and Head of Product Marketing in establishing a world class product creation and management function within a business experiencing exponential growth.

You will be a natural team collaborator with the ability to engage, connect and influence across multiple functions.You are consumer obsessed and bring passion and vision to your role.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Product Planning and Execution
  • Reason to Believe Execution
  • Brand Management and Product Merchandising
  • Product Creation Delivery
  • Input into the creation of Gymshark’s product Vision and Strategy
  • Execution of product vision within your specific gender, category, seasonal product concepts and initiatives
  • Develop clear and focused product briefs defining clear purpose and intent behind each product concept
  • Deliver and execute compelling story telling strategies which gives our consumer ‘The Reason to Believe’
  • Work with GS Innovation/Testing team to deliver fully tested and validated product concepts
  • Ensure ‘Hero’ product and is effectively integrated into our Creative content and campaigns
  • Deliver product feature for function communication internally (Brand)and externally(Customer)
  • Work in collaboration with Creative and Trading teams to deliver GS online store product look and content for your category
  • Work with Head of PM to propose Brand and commercially relevant GS Event product assortments
  • Input into commercial seasonal launch plans aligning with our Trading and Brand teams
  • Consumer advocate for your category throughout the whole concept to commercialisation process
  • Input into delivering compelling commercial and consumer focused insights by in depth analysis of internal sales and consumer data as well as external market analysis of consumer and competitor trends to assist in defining clear and focused product strategies
  • With direction from the Head of PM input into the seasonal range architecture and develop detailed range plans which optimise style and SKU productivity based on previous seasons sales history and external market commercial insights
  • With direction from the Head of PM devise a Global style level pricing strategy based on market commercial insights and internal brand positioning strategy and business targets
  • Build a bottom up style level seasonal forecast which meets pre determined business targets utilising insights from internal Trading team
  • Work cross functionally with Sales/Demand Planning in analysing style level forecasts with actual buy PO quantities and repeat demand based on phasing and stock intake
  • Work collaboratively with Design, Development and Materials team throughout the product creation process ensuring critical milestone timelines are adhered to. Attendance in all key cross functional meetings to help drive the process and ensure all cross functional teams are aligned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Experience working with sportswear or apparel
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Experience of managing and developing direct reports
  • Great knowledge of product and fabric
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ability to own the product build for your category ensuring target pricing and margins are achieved
