Gymshark is a global fitness apparel & accessories brand, manufacturer and online retailer in the United Kingdom, supported by over 4 million highly engaged social media followers and customers in 131 countries. Created in 2012 by teenager Ben Francis and a group of his high-school friends. Gymshark has grown from a screen-printing operation in a garage, into one of the fastest growing and most recognisable brands in fitness. Our Tech team is wholly responsible for the running and development of our online stores, native applications, integrations and software. We are an agile team applying the company’s ethos, ‘Be a visionary’, to the Tech & Digital aspect of the business.



As a Senior Product Designer at Gymshark you will play a key role in helping to craft innovative experiences that serve our customer needs, problems and opportunities across our digital products. You’ll be working with closely with our Product Managers and Product Insight teams to improve our customer journeys across all of our digital products. You will be conceptualising new ideas as well as progressively iterating existing interfaces, to ensure maximum usability and delight, backed up by research and data insight.

  • Design stunning user interfaces across our digital tech products.
  • Understand our consumer pain points and design solutions to help them achieve their goals.
  • Shape broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into intuitive digital experiences.
  • Define user flows and digital experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant.
  • Own the end-to-end design (interaction, visual, etc.) across multiple features and projects.
  • Present designs, prototypes and concepts to cross functional partners and stakeholders.
  • On-going work to build relationships and align with other creative areas of the business.
  • Give and take feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Analysts to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
  • Provide guidance to engineers and ensure features launch at the highest quality
  • To continuously work on our design processes, ensuring that our team adhere to the relevant processes and guidelines.
  • Utilise design sprints in order to effectively prioritise and tackle projects.
  • Work with the Product Insight team to use data to inform and drive all design decisions.
  • Working with the Product Managers identifying optimisations and improvements to our UX/UI.
  • Help to grow the design culture at Gymshark.
  • Work within the AGILE SCRUM framework to ensure the smooth handover of the deliverables.
  • A good number of years' experience as a product designer
  • A proven record of shipping visually stunning user interfaces
  • Solid understanding of user interface and interaction design
  • Solid understanding of digital product development and processes
  • Ability to create prototypes at all levels of fidelity for testing
  • Experience facilitating and supporting ideation workshops involving stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions
  • A master of using our design tools of choice; Figma & Principle
  • Adobe Creative Suite expertise - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Excellent communicator and motivator

  • Experienced at describing and documenting your design process and decisions
