The Social Content function offers an incredible opportunity for individuals looking to test their social media proficiency at the highest level. As Senior Social Community Executive, you are required to lead a team of Social Community Executives in our quest to provide the best brand experience on social media. Your purpose is to be the driver for creative and impactful experiences, whilst ensuring that that our brand values are always in mind.

Reporting directly to the Social Community Lead, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your cohort, managing monthly activity and ensuring that your direct team and key stakeholders are aware and aligned with all community activity. The ideal candidate must have a passion for creating industry leading social media fan experiences, whilst simultaneously having the ability to drive commercial impact.  

  • Lead a team of Social Community Executives overseeing daily branded interactions, surprise & delight, content collation and community involvement across social media accounts
  • Project manage tier 1 campaigns from a community perspective, owning the casting, communication, rewards and competition process 
  • Work closely with media stakeholders to ensure that we are continually finding new ways to embed our community into our campaigns and BAU comms
  • Handle high-risk brand responses and oversee community comms on all Gymshark social media accounts
  • Refine and suggest new community processes to ensure that Community Executives are continually evolving their approach and staying ahead of competitors
  • Resolve escalated brand inquiries and ensure that we are continuously refreshing our FAQ’s so that the team are equipped to deal with future inquiries 
  • Own and manage the quarterly community calendar, representing Social Content in campaign stakeholder meetings ensuring that the Media team has full visibility of upcoming community initiatives 
  • Run ‘way of working’ sessions with all new Social Community Executive recruits, ensuring that expectations and responsibilities are cascaded and adhered to
  • Support your cohort of executives by leading collaboration sessions that review current performance and uncover new opportunities and threats
  • Determine new ways to continually refine our community processes, focusing on improving content collation, communication, community involvement and rewards 
  • Assigned dedicated ‘Second Pair of Eyes’, tasked to approve BAU content on community accounts, ensuring that our content offering is consistent, while ensuring that the brilliant basics are not overlooked
  • Experience in a social capacity with a proven ability to lead a team and manage projects
  • Strong familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat required
  • Proven track record in delivery of KPI driven results
  • Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong sense of responsibility, takes ownership, self-starter and proactive attitude
  • You are a naturally curious thinking, self-driven character with a passion for understanding customers and meeting their needs
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to think laterally and understand the cost and value drivers within a competitive business environment
  • Agile to change and pragmatic. Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment where identifying needs, providing solutions and adding value is a prerequisite
  • Strong communicator with the ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences.
  • Must be comfortable presenting concepts and ideas to a variety of audiences.

  • Experience using Photoshop, Premiere Pro and other creative programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related disciplines desirable
