What we say, and how we say it, is crucial to our relationship with the Gymshark Family. As a French Copywriter you will be reporting to our Senior Creative and will be responsible for a wide range of briefs for Gymshark copy - from product descriptions on our website, to invites to our events and more. A French Copywriter must be able to write in a way that informs and excites but must also bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role, and the team.
SPECollaborate with stakeholders in driving Gymshark’s localisation strategy through:

Developing, building and maintaining close working relationships with French representatives across go-to-market functions
Contribute within the creative team on campaign concepts – helping develop copy and messaging
Develop and execute any supporting and key messaging principles for campaigns and other projects
Have the ability to quickly receive, understand and communicate information from other teams
Represent French Copy in monthly meetings and feedback accordingly
A core understanding of our French audience, as well as the wider French market

Work from briefs to ensure Gymshark’s tone of voice is developed and kept consistent across:

Header copy for our website
Online product descriptions
Email copy for both campaign & transactional activity
Copy for our social media platforms
SEO content to ensure native relevancy
Create & translate blog articles and content
Translate video descriptions and subtitles
  • Any successful candidate would need to have exceptionally strong writing skills, the ability to work both collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder environment, and independently
  • Must have a keen interest in storytelling, brand tone of voice and general copywriting
  • Ability to take in new information, process it quickly, and write about it confidently
  • An ideal candidate would have experience copywriting to a high level, with some knowledge of SEO
  • Fluent in English and native French speaker
