The Senior Customer Insight Analyst will be responsible for providing the North America GTM (go to market) teams with actionable customer insight that leads to effective customer targeting and strategic decisions. This role will not only be responsible for hands-on data manipulation, modeling, and profiling tasks but also for clear and effective communication of insights and recommendations to the broader North America business team. This role will work closely with the global customer analytics team in the UK, leveraging existing reports and models, and feeding requirements into the global analytics roadmap.

  • Provide actionable customer insight to business teams that answers key business questions, enables the business to understand our customers further, and inform strategic decisions that are grounded in customer insight.
  • Develop knowledge of advanced analytical techniques to enable understanding and prediction of customer behavior to step-change the way Gymshark targets and retains customers.
  • Develop a complete knowledge of customer data in Gymshark's North America business and establish a collaborative relationship with the global data and analytics/insights teams in the UK.
  • Work closely with the customer research team to build a holistic view of Gymshark's customers through data led findings.
  • Be a key business partner to teams across the business to understand their key business challenges and needs from a customer insight perspective and work with teams to solve their challenges and needs.
  • Present customer insights in an engaging way to 'tell the story' and provide clear recommendations for teams to take action from.
  • Adopt a continuous learning approach to data modeling, analysis, mining and reporting techniques, keeping up to date with the latest thinking and practices.
  •  Minimum of 2-4 years' experience within an analyst/senior analyst with experience in conducting marketing focused retail analytics projects.
  • A strong communicator/story teller and be able to explain insights uncovered to stakeholders who may not be analytically-minded or data savvy.
  • Strong skills in analytics tools/languages, particularly in Alteryx, SQL, Python, BI, and Tableu.
  • Experience working with (including the manipulation of) large data sets to track and understand customer behavior.
  • Ability to identify patterns and trends but also understand what is driving them and relay that to the business.
  • A problem solver and logical thinker, with the ability to see the bigger picture and get to the underlying business questions.
  • The ability to plan and structure workload, collaboratively delivering under pressure and to target on time deadlines.
  • Strong relationship management skills, able to understand teams needs and challenges.
