Are you our next Management Accountant? We’re looking for someone to join our Finance team, to help oversee Gymshark’s management reporting through preparation of source data and analysis.   • Manage the preparation of management accounts, including flash accounts in line with set deadlines of your delegated cost centres
  • Assist in preparation of monthly commercial pack, ensuring information gives value to business stakeholders
  • Act as a finance business partner, including – but not limited to – departmental cost analysis, supporting in solving queries, provision of data and reports to the wider business and improvement of reporting to stakeholders (from the Chiefs to Exec’s).
  • Unmask underlying problems within systems/business processes which may lead to a financial gain/loss and provide solutions to relative functions
  • Assist in development and analysis of financial commercial insight
  • Supporting the building and phasing of departmental budgets
  • Manage prepayments and accruals process accurately and in line with month-end deadlines
  • Assist and deliver on the reconciliation and management of key balance sheet codes
  • Work with other members of the MI Team to share and gain knowledge of what builds our P&L structure and forms our bottom-line performance
  • To work closely with the core finance team to help improve the processing of transactional information to form part of accurate, timely management information
  • Continual adaptation to systems – encourages reporting efficiencies and quality of information on the financial performance of Gymshark
  • Perform ad hoc expense analysis and feedback to appropriate parties
  • Support all audit visits i.e. internal, external and contractual audits
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting practices, procedures and policies of Gymshark
  • Ensure all documents are filed in a timely and logical manner
  • Maintain a high standard of work adhering to all regulatory legislation

You'll be the type of person who:

  • Is self-motivated and take pride in completing tasks to the highest standard
  • Is detailed and methodical - Duties are completed in an accurate manner whilst spotting irregularities and investigating them
  • Is adaptive and logical - able to think about and solve new issues that may arise as the company grows and faces new challenges
  • Is able to manage time and responsibilities to ensure key tasks are completed to deadlines to ensure the rest of the department operates smoothly
  • Has good communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels and situations to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Is proactive – to go above and beyond and adapt to the changing needs of the team
  • Is comfortable in a culture that embraces change and is fast paced
  • Has experience in a financial role (Retail/E-Commerce desirable)
  • Is a fully qualified accountant
  • Is able to manage sensitive data with the appropriate confidentiality and professionalism
  • Has excellent Excel skills
  • Has solid accounting knowledge

Please note while we are currently working from home, this position will require you to work in our Solihull, UK HQ once the government guidelines allow. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
