In joining Gymshark you will be a key member of the Merchandising & Planning team; whose responsibility is to help deliver commercial success for Gymshark through both precise merchandise planning and active trading of our 14 e-commerce stores.

E-Commerce works closely with a number of functions in the business with the primary responsibility of maintaining the front-end of the website through frequent visual merchandising, banner analysis, and stock rotation to deliver a world-class website experience for every customer. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Your main area of focus will be to manage the e-commerce executives who are completing the day-to-day tasks pertaining to our 12 e-comm stores across our international markets.
  • Ensuring the key objectives of increasing CVR, AOV, stock turn, and ultimately revenue are being focused on and executing an effective digital plan of your own e-commerce store and overseeing your team in the day-to-day execution of their site(s).
  • Working closely with the planning, marketing, and product tech teams you will devise and deliver the day-to-day operational running of our web stores, taking direction from the international e-commerce manager to focus on the site priorities and ensuring your team is executing these plans accordingly.
  • You will ensure you are growing your localized skillset providing regional language capability and insights into the region(s) you are managing and ensuring your team is delivering consistent insight into their regional performance.
  • Have a regular focus on reporting and analytics, providing your team and manager with insights across web traffic channels, product performance, and purchasing/browsing behavior, and working with your manager on how to transform the data you have gathered into site action plans and strategy.
  • Understanding the customer journey and working with the International E-commerce Manager to create a plan to reduce bounce rates and abandoned baskets. Working closely with CRM and paid channels to create an effective abandoned basket strategy.
  • Working hand in hand with the product tech function to run A/B and MVT tests across all areas of the site to continuously improve our primary metrics. Also suggesting new ideas for MVT testing to answer questions you have about how the site works. 
  • Have an understanding of your regional margin performance and the regional margin performance of the sites your teams are maintaining, and the overall sales number, working closely with the planning team to understand how your actions affect the daily numbers.
  • Provide validation of online content and copy, working closely with our tech and brand teams for resolving any onsite issues.
  • Understanding the customer end-to-end journey on the site and how you can manipulate this to increase revenue metrics, focusing on the nuances between your own site and those of your team to ensure regional distinctions are being made.
  • Execute the commercial calendar ensuring you are aware of all daily/monthly activations and you are your team is fully prepared for them. Ensuring appropriate cover for launches with staff on your team. 
  • Work closely with the data team to understand the performance of our partners on-site and offer any insights to the International e-commerce Manager and Affiliates and Partnerships team.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Qualities:

  • Proven ability to manage daily tasks in a time-effective and methodical manner.
  • Able to work with a wide and varying range of complex e-commerce data.
  • Commercially minded with an ability to understand the effects and importance of imagery in any E-Commerce site.
  • Able to work well with others.
  • Organised and able to manage a variety of different tasks in tandem.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Have experience working in a business that has experienced rapid growth.
  • A similar industry background; either sports/fashion apparel or E-Commerce.
When normal office working resumes, our expectation would require candidates to attend to travel to GSHQ, Solihull, UK occasionally.
