Are you our next Finance Treasury Assistant?
 We’re looking for someone to join our Finance team, to help develop our current and future Treasury related projects to help us positively transform the way we work. Processes are constantly needing to be redeveloped and progressed to keep up with the speed and growth of the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Assist with the day to day posting and reconciliation of bank accounts (multiple currencies).
  • Investigation of irregular transaction and card/cash in transit monitoring.
  • Provide daily cash flow updates reflecting actual figures from bank and upcoming movements.
  • Management of direct debits and standing orders.
  • Support Financial Accountant in monitoring of foreign currency balances and management of these.
  • Input and review of payments onto company banking system (HSBC net.).
  • Assist in the management of corporate card reporting/reconciliation.
  • Assist in the reconciliation and review of treasury related balance sheet accounts to ensure integrity.
  • Assist in preparation of weekly cash flow - treasury.
  • Assist with all Treasury related month end close tasks.
  • Support Financial Accountant in the delivery of key treasury project related tasks in line with set deadlines.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable function with ad-hoc analysis work.
  • Aid in the production of the monthly management packs including analysis of key functions.
  • Develop and produce analysis reports to improve efficiency or become more cost effective.
  • Liaise with both our internal systems team and our external partners to ensure we are proactively implementing new and automated processes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Experience of working in a Treasury, Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant role or similar/equivalent
  • Experience of working on projects and/or implementing new processes.
  • Analytical mindset
  • Detailed and methodical - Duties are completed in an accurate manner whilst spotting irregularities and investigating them.
  • Adaptive and logical -Able to think about and solve new issues that may arise as the company grows and faces new challenges.
  • Pro-active – To go above and beyond and adapt to the changing needs of the team
  • Technologically proficient and able to make full use of technology and software to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Able to manage time and responsibilities to ensure key tasks are completed to deadlines to ensure the rest of the department operates smoothly.
  • Good communication skills and able to build a strong rapport with team’s key to the role.
  • Able to manage sensitive data with the appropriate confidentiality and professionalism.

When normal office working resumes, our expectation is that you would require to attend our GSHQ, Solihull, UK. Relocation assistance is not available for this role. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
